Homeland Members to Tour Port of Los Angeles and Port of Long Beach, Discuss Impacts of Port of Entries, Trade, and Inspection

(LONG BEACH) – Rep. Nanette Diaz Barragán, whose district includes the Port of Los Angeles, will host her colleagues from the House Homeland Security Committee to tour the nation’s largest Port Complex comprised of the Port of Los Angeles and Port of Long Beach, receive briefings from the U.S. Department of Homeland Security, including the U.S. Coast Guard and U.S. Customs and Border Protection, and discuss inspection methods, trade zones, and the impact of port of entries.

Following the briefings, members will host a media availability to discuss the impact of operations and the region.
